| First Responder is committed to ensuring that health care
providers learn the latest cutting edge information and techniques in a
hands on oriented environment. Healthcare Provider CPR is intended for
participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of
settings. These include but are not limited to fire fighters,
EMT/Paramedics, nurses, doctors, dentists, lifeguards, respiratory
therapists, etc. Our Healthcare Provider class covers CPR for the
infant, child and adult patient - with special emphasis on ventilation
using a bag-mask device, supplementary oxygen, and other barrier
devices. Also covered are methods of clearing a foreign body airway
obstruction in infants and adults alike. Students will also have an opportunity to train with an automated external defibrillator (AED),
one of the newest and most exciting additions to cardiac care by the
American Heart Association. |
